SeaLex membership is an annual plan that gives seafarers continuous access to a maritime lawyer for legal guidance and support throughout the year. Members can easily request legal help, receive assistance, and track their cases directly through the platform.

The annual membership fee is €319.89 and is charged on an annual basis. Membership may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation does not affect access to benefits, which remain active for 12 months from the initial payment date.

Membership includes ongoing access to maritime legal consultations and guidance, a personal legal dashboard for inquiries and documents, SeaLex Points that may be applied toward additional legal services, access to member resources and community features, and applicable loyalty or member benefits.

Each member receives SeaLex points equal to the membership fee paid. Points can be used to pay for any additional legal services, such as formal correspondence, claims, negotiations or representation, where those services are offered separately by an independent lawyer. Points are non-cash benefits and are subject to the applicable SeaLex terms.

Members may earn additional SeaLex Points through eligible referrals, anniversary or loyalty bonuses, and qualifying platform participation. The exact earning rules and any limits should always follow the current SeaLex membership terms.

Membership includes legal consultations, initial legal assessment and ongoing guidance provided through the SeaLex platform. If a matter requires an independent lawyer to take formal action on your behalf — such as sending formal correspondence, negotiating with another party or providing legal representation — that work is offered separately under the lawyer’s professional terms. SeaLex Points may be applied toward qualifying additional services.

New users can try SeaLex for 7 days without a credit card. During the trial, you can submit one initial legal inquiry, receive an introductory legal consultation and explore the core platform experience. After the trial, you can choose whether to start an annual membership and continue receiving ongoing legal support.

SeaLex membership is billed annually and remains active for the full 12-month period, even if you decide to cancel midway. You can continue using all membership benefits and legal services until your yearly term expires.

After your annual membership ends, you have 30 days to renew it. If you don’t renew within that period, your account becomes inactive – you’ll lose access to the platform, your SeaLex Points will be permanently deleted, and all other membership benefits will expire.

To keep your points and uninterrupted access to legal support, make sure to renew your membership each year before the 30-day grace period ends.
